Top 10 FLAWLESS SKIN CARE TIPS for this christmas and new year

TIP nO. 1- TAKE A BREATH TO HYDRATE YOUR SKIN WITH GLORIOUS OXYGEN.

The excitement – and deadlines – of the pre-Christmas rush can make you forget all about the reason for the season!
Stress that we carry around through the day can vanish with one simple technique for relaxation: breathing. Take a moment to inhale deeply a few times, allowing all that nourishing oxygen to enter your lungs. The moment that you take to refocus will actually help you be mentally sharper and more present afterwards.

TIP nO. 2- moisturize daily
Winter season demands extra Skin Care Remember to daily moisturize your skin with whatever moisturizer that suits you.
Highly recommended – COCOA BUTTER for this winter season- http://www.omorfee.com/body-care/body-butter/cocoa-body-butter
Don’t forget to use a generous amount of this luxurious butter on your entire body, paying greater care to elbows, knee and ankles after a shower, steam, sauna or spa.

TIP 3: LIMIT YOUR ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION AT CHRISTMAS PARTIES – YOUR SKIN WILL APPEAR BRIGHTER.

Although you may like sipping alcohol drinks, your skin doesn’t. Alcohol dehydrates you and can leave your skin dry, grey and dull.
·         Try soda as a mixer substitute with vodka or gin – it has less calories than lemonade and other mixes
·         With each alcoholic drink consumed, match it with a glass of water.
·         Add an ice cube or sparkling water to your glass of wine to reduce headaches and hangovers

TIP 4: GO FOR A SHORT WALK TWICE A DAY TO LOSE THE DARK CIRCLES.

Schedules before christmas comprise of crazy working hours. Hence as a rule right before you go to bed, use REGENERATIVE EYE CREAM everyday- http://www.omorfee.com/facial-care/facial-creme/regenerative-eye-cream

Lack of exercise causes lack of blood circulation, which results in dull lifeless skin as well as not allowing the lymph to circulate. This has a chain effect build-up of toxins under the skin, causing swollen bags under the eyes or general puffy and dull skin appearance. So…take a short walk twice a day or add a longer one into your exercise plan – it will de-stress your skin! To compliment your walk try our REVIVE dark circle eye cream, specifically formulated to increase circulation for dark circles and the reduction of fine lines around the eyes.
Wake up to beautiful, bright eyes, everyday!

TIP nO. 5-  don’t ignore after shower body oil

Apply sweet almond oil or coconut oil to your skin after a bath or shower. These natural oils are wonderful for the skin, and they are completely natural. Children and even babies can usually tolerate sweet almond or coconut oil on their skin.
This is an absolutely matte finish, feather light, heavenly smelling, after-shower body oil, that quickly penetrates skin and deeply moisturizes with a healthy sheen. It deeply nourishes the skin, leaving behind no trace of oiliness on skin. It is made of pure olive oil, jojoba oil, almond oil and essential oils of Rosemary, Lemongrass and Lavender.

TIP nO. 6- DRINK PLENTY OF WATER

Don’t replace your eight glasses of water a day with hot chocolate and lattes.  Skin needs water to be plump and smooth. Make sure you stay hydrated in the winter months and your skin will thank you.
TIP nO. 7-exfoliate your lips
Having lip balm handy is great for chapped lips. To exfoliate a flaky pout, use a clean toothbrush and gently exfoliate to remove dead skin. Slather on nourishing lip balm afterwards to lock in moisture.

Improve Your Eyesight Today!

Your eyes are God’s best gift to you. They help you to enjoy the beauty of nature, recognize your near and dear ones and they help you to perform your daily activities. It is natural to lose your sharp vision with age, but there are other factors also that cause damage to your vision. There are many reasons behind eyesight weakness; the most common is uneven lifestyle, watching TV without blinking, working on computer for long hours, fewer nutrition diets, hereditary disorder etc.

1)    Massage over worked eyes
This is a great exercise for people who work for long hours in front of computers. Hold your eyebrows between your thumb and index finger, in such a way that the thumb is above the eyebrow and index finger below. Now, gently press and straighten your eyebrows, exerting gentle pressure on all the points. Then, take your thumb and gently roll it around your eye ball, i.e: along your eye socket. Follow this exercise every three to four hours to improve the circulation around your eyes.  This exercise improves circulation around the eyes helping them bounce back from the fatigue of constantly looking at a computer screen.

2)    Avoid spending prolonged hours on the TV and computer
If you are working on a task that requires your eyes to focus for a long period of time, be sure to take regular breaks. It is advisable to take a ten minute break for every one hour. This will prevent eye strain and give some time for your eyes to relax.
3)    Feed Your Eyes to Improve Vision (Foods to Get Better Eyesight)
Foods such as carrots, kale, blueberries, apricots, spinach and many more are proven to be effective in improving vision. There are also some herbs to improve eyesight naturally such as bilberry, ginkgo and passionflower. But here are the five foods that works miracles on your eyesight :
• Carrots.
This has always been the secret of good vision. Carrots are high in beta-carotene. And when your body ingests beta-carotene, it changes to Vitamin A. It is purely good for eyesight, immune system and also the skin. Consume carrot everyday, and within weeks you would notice changes in your eyesight.

• Three B’s – Bell peppers, Brussels sprouts and broccoli.
These are said to be the super foods for eyes. They contain high amount of Vitamin C which is effective in preventing or slowing down age-related macular degeneration, cataracts and glaucoma. This is how to make your vision better.
• Spinach.
Not only it maintains a good immune system, it also helps improve your eyesight naturally. This is a must-consume-at-least-three-times-a-week food. It contains beta-carotene, Vitamin C, lutein and anti-oxidants. They help keep the eyes safe from oxidative stress and act like a natural sunscreen to your eyes.

4)    Barefoot Walking
Walking is most important part for human being; it should be included as a daily routine. It is more effective for eyes when walking in the morning along with barefoot on green grass. If you decided to gain your eye power once again then stay tuned to walking barefoot.

5)    Get adequate sleep
When you don’t get enough sleep, you tend to deal with terrible headaches and blurry vision. It will also hurt to keep your eyes open for a long time. When you eyes don’t rest well, they get tired and will not be able to perform their functions. Allow your eye muscles to relax by sleeping at least eight hours daily.

6)     Bat those eyelids
Blinking is the eyes natural way to renew the moisture in the eyes and give it some much needed relief. To help your eyes relax, make it a habit to blink after every five to six seconds.
7)    Drink plenty of water.
Remember that the human body is made up of 60% water. If your body lacks of hydration, your eyes will feel the impact too. They might feel a little blurry, tired and dry. Hence, increase your water intake. Drink 8 tall glasses of water per day.
8)    Protect Your Eyes To Improve Your Vision-
Avoid exposing the eyes in harsh sun rays to improve your vision. Wear a sun hat and sun glasses to protect your eyes from the strong glare of the sun. You should use sun glasses even in winters especially when taking part in winter sports. Always wear swim gear for the eyes while swimming to protect the eyes from chlorinated water of the pool. Read and work in well illuminated area to avoid eye strain and to improve your vision naturally.
These are all the tips and remedies on how to make your vision better. If you are dealing with lazy eye problem, make sure to exercise you eyes often.
Make sure you follow these simple remedies in your daily routine..

STAY EXOTIC!

Shocking BEAUTY HABITS that can bring more damage than good!

·      Using Face Wipes

Face wipes are good at removing make up before proper cleansing but they shouldn’t be used alone to clean the face. Wipes spread makeup, skin oils and dirt around instead of rinsing them away like a good cleanser and water. They also dry out the skin, making it more prone to flakiness and premature ageing.

·      Using Petroleum Jelly

Petroleum jelly is often used to try and moisturize  chapped lips but this is not what the product was made for. In fact, petroleum jelly is best at creating a barrier on the skin- to protect open skin from dirt, to lubricate the hands during manual labor and to make dry joints like the elbows less uncomfortable. This barrier effect means that petroleum jelly is good at protecting your lips from the cold but little else; as it actually prevents moisture from entering the skin meaning your lips will be more dry and chapped in the long run.

·      Not Moisturizing

You may think that because your skin is normal or oily that you don’t need to moisturize, but think again. Moisturizers help to plump the skin and deliver ingredients into the lower layers of the skin that you can’t see. If you have oily skin but your face often feels tight, then it may be dehydrated and in need of water instead of the oil that it produces. Try using a water based moisturizer everyday and see how your skin changes.

·      Washing Hair Everyday

While it may seem like basic hygiene to wash your hair every day, it actually isn’t necessary, even for oily hair. Washing the hair too much can dry it out, making it weak and brittle but also stimulating your scalp to over-produce oil, meaning hair will seem dirtier in the long run. Try to wash your hair every two to three days and use dry shampoo in between. Your oily hair will actually become less oily over time.

·      Cutting Cuticles

Trimming the cuticles is often a basic part of a manicure but actually this is an unnecessary step. The cuticles should never be cut or trimmed because this can leave the skin and nail bed open to infection from unclean tools or outside germs. Instead, use an orange wood stick to gently push back the cuticles, taking care not to break the skin.

·      Not Cleaning Makeup Brushes

You may think you’re doing your brushes a favour by not getting them wet, but this beauty habit can be doing damage that you can’t see. Makeup, skin cells and bacteria can collect in your brushes meaning they don’t work as well as they used to and using them may be clogging your pores. Wash your brushes often in warm soapy water or use an on the spot antibacterial cleaner to remove makeup and kill acne causing bacteria.

·      Sleeping in Makeup

Even after a long night you should still make the effort to remove as much makeup as you can before bed. Foundation, concealer and powder can clog the pores when left on the skin for a long time and not washing your face twice a day will allow grime and dead skin cells to build up.

·      Scrubbing Everyday

Using exfoliating scrubs or rough exfoliating tools on the skin everyday can irritate it and cause it to age prematurely as skin cells are unnecessarily broken down and removed. If your skin is rough or bumpy, use a gentle chemical exfoliator like salicylic acid or glycolic acid instead and leave the scrubs to once a week or less.

·      Re-using Razors

While razors are designed to be used more than once, using the same one over a long period of time can do your skin more harm than good. Soap and skin cells can build up on the blades, making them blunt and allowing bacteria to grow on them. The combination of blunt blades and bacteria can lead to skin irritation and shaving cuts, leaving the area open to infection.

·      Using Old Makeup

There is no point trying to save money by using old makeup when this beauty habit can cause more harm than good- beauty products can go off when bacteria from the area and your skin enter the packaging after it has been opened. In particular, products with wands like lip gloss and mascara can harbour bacteria from the skin and create an enclosed environment for it to grow. Most skincare products will have their ‘use by time’ shown on the packaging with an M for months, but eye products and those in tubes should be thrown away after six months or less and other makeup should be used up or thrown out within a year.
